1. I see a man who shot and killed himself with some type of gun.
2. The color is mostly dull and gray, the texture looks mostly rough, and there are many straight lines and shapes.
3. The overall mood of this painting is disapointing because it looks like the guy shot himself and is laying dead.
4. I think this piece is successful because there is a lot of emotion in the painting and there is really just one way to judge this piece because there doesn't look like there is anything positive in this painting.

Spring Break
I really didn't do a whole lot of stuff over spring break this year. The first weekend of spring break we traveled to Louisville and watched the final four games with my aunt and uncle. I wanted Butler to beat Uconn in the final game because this was the second year in a row they made it all the way. On Sunday I played golf with my uncle and I think that was the day when the wind was blowing at an average speed of 30 miles per hour. That made it very hard to play and we did not score well. We also did a few other things in Louisville with my family. The rest of the week I just relaxed at my dad's house and did stuff around the house and the city. I think our vacation will be over summer break this year.

Video comparison
Left painting:
1. I see a creature eating something that looks like a small human body.
2. The color of this piece is very dull and dark. There are also many straight lines and many different shapes.
3. I think the artist made the mood of this piece scary and very negative. There is really nothing positive or funny about this piece.
4. I think this is succesful if the artist was trying to make a negative piece.
Right painting:
1. I see a person that is exhausted from writing something.
2. The value of this piece is a lot brighter and more colorful. The texture looks some in most places and there many different lines and shapes.
3. I think the mood of this piece is also negative. It looks like the man in the painting is tired from righting so much and it almost looks like there is a little blood.
4. I think this piece can also be succesful but I don't really see a meaning to this piece.
-I think the piece on the right is romanticism because it has rich color and the piece on the left does not have musch color and is very dull. But, the piece on the left could also be romanticism because the tone is not very calm and there is a lot of emotion in the painting.

-I prefer Romanticism art over neoclassical art because Romanticism pieces include more emotion and color. Neoclassical pieces are calmer and less colorful. The music we chose fit the slideshow and paintings the best out of all the other choices. We selected each individual painting because it was the most elite and easily showed the contrast between neoclassical art and Romanticism art. The categories we chose were value, tone, and composition. We chose these categories because we thought they were the most important of all. My favorite painting is Le Sermant De I’armee because of all the action going on in the painting.

-The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body. In addition to being known as right-brained, you are also known as a creative thinker who uses feeling and intuition to gather information. You retain this information through the use of images and patterns. You are able to visualize the "whole" picture first, and then work backwards to put the pieces together to create the "whole" picture. Your thought process can appear quite illogical and meandering. The problem-solving techniques that you use involve free association, which is often very innovative and creative. The routes taken to arrive at your conclusions are completely opposite to what a left-brained person would be accustomed. You probably find it easy to express yourself using art, dance, or music. Some occupations usually held by a right-brained person are forest ranger, athlete, beautician, actor/actress, craftsman, and artist.
-I think it is accurate. Some of the sub categories might not be completely accurate, for example, the left brain symbolic says that I probably hated algebra but I didn't; I actually liked algebra I, but I did not like geometry.

Mozart
The cause of Mozart's death is not completely known for sure. The most likely cause was a high intermittent fever. According to Mozart, he thought he died from some kind of poisoning. Other possibilities could have been tuberculosis mengitis, strep throat infection, some kind of kidney disease, or even just because of poverty and priviation. I think it was some kind of poisoning for writing music too much or too long. Also in the movie he was always drinking some kind of alcohol so it could have been alcohol poisoning.

Random Objects
-This piece is a bunch of random shapes and random colors combined into a one painting.
-The elements that jump out the most are color, line, and shape.
-I think the artist was just trying to make a creative an unique piece that looks 3 dimesional.
-I think this is a succesful piece because it is very unique and is just a bunch of random shapes and colors combined to make one image.

Extended Weekend
I didn't do a whole lot last weekend because I was kind of sick for a few days. The only thing I really did that involved any of the arts was I watched and played a lot of basketball. I also had to draw some images to remember vocabulary words for homework. That wasn't very fun, but it did involve art. I don't really have an interesting story, but one interesting thing I did was I played frisbee golf in the snow at my dad's house. It was very cold and hard to play in the snow but it was fun.

-a prezi is a web-based application that is used to tell stories using a single canvas instead of slides.
-a prezi is just a bunch of random facts and informaition scattered around the page and a powerpoint is more even and balanced.
1.create your structure first and worry about details later
2.make sections bigger then needed
3.choose color scheme well and early

Think fast
I wasn't really on my feet but one time our smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night. I had to think fast because I didn't know what to do and I was still half asleep when the alarm woke me up. At first I thought it was the alarm on my phone but then realized it was 1:00 a.m. and it was the smoke alarm. After I had finally woken up, we spent 30 minutes looking for a fire but it turned out to be just a low battery or something like that in the smoke alarm. I can't really remember much else because I was half asleep and it was a few months ago when this happened.

Christmas Break
We were at my grandparents house my uncle got a new smile detecting camera and was taking pictures of my family with the auto-smile-detection. Then he started recording us with the camera making crazy faces and doing stupid stuff trying to make it detect a smile and take a picture, but none of us knew he was recording and now we have a 5 minute video of my familiy acting crazy. I think my uncle almost had a heart attack from laughing so hard when he watched the full video on his HD T.V. It was almost too funny to explain.
